United States Stove Company

The United States Stove Company was once two entities known as Perry Stove Works, of New York, and Wetter Manufacturing, of Tennessee. Perry Stove Works moved to Tennessee in the year 1886 to take advantage of the rich natural resources in the area. In 1888 they sold out to Wetter Manufacturing just after a tragic boiler accident. A local business man revamped the entire company in 1926 and gave it the new name of United States Stove Company.
